Go to your windows task manager (control + Alt + delete) and delete those process along with crossfire in the processes tab because the game might of simply got stuck on the loading and never actually fully closed when the game crashed. Also try ending your processes such as xfire, gamebooster, and other game speeding tools.
What service pack are you using? If you are using "1" i would use service pack "2"

1. Start
2. Type in Run "ENTER"
3. Type in regedit "ENTER"
4. Press HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
5. Press System
6. Press CurrentControlSet
7. Press Control
8. Then look for a folder named Control "ENTER"
9. Click CSDVersion
10. Type in 200 instead of 100
11. Restart your computer.

Theres my CF Folder
I closed all my game boosters/malwares/ and anything else from preventing a start up and still no go
and 2 the chinese guy in a bra... my CSDVersion is already 200

Well try this: Go into your cf folder - located in C:\Program Files\Z8Games\CrossFire - look for a file known as sxs.dll. Delete it, try to run crossfire without any hacks.

Run G4BOX_CF.exe as admin .
Delete your Z8Games Folder, then uninstall crossfire through the control Panel > Download CrossFire again. Install, see if it works. If it doesn't PM me with your TV info.

I un-installed everything jigjaw suggested and crossfire works
now when ever I attempt to use the free hack for crossfire uploaded 0ct 30 I get a error "Client MFC Application has stopped working"

@bullshit1234 I got vista 32bit as well, same is happening for me. Just redownload CF through a mirror.
