TEACH ME PLEASE!

There are many different types of mods. You can't just say "Teach me how to mod", you need to be more specific in what kinda mod you want to make.

I think Java will be useful.

Learn Java & Learn MCP.
Study the class files, and know whats what in the minecraft.jar

Thats the foundation to 99% of all mods.

You need to learn Java

Go down to a local bookshop and see if they have any boks
