Graphic Problems

Hello!
Im recently having problem with my PS3. My graphics are kinda bad, because I only can use 480p.
I checked my TV manual and It says it can hold 1080p so my question is how can I change it to 1080p?

I also have HDMI cable.

Here is info about my TV:

If you are able to see the PS3 menu and have your HDMI cable plugged in, Follow this guide from sony and you should be able to amp up your resolution to 1080i.

Fixed IT!
My dad changed cables and while HMDI was plugged in to ps3
Composite/S Video was too.
I don't know I think he was watching DVD and had to plugg it in.

One problem is that graphic 1080p is only In ps3 lobby/m.enu
When I run the game it changes to 480p again

Glad i could be of some assistance and i have never really heard of it doing anything like that before? maybe it is your TV

Can someone help me?
