Ban question

My account, boaman5 , was recently banned for so called "advertising". I asked for opinions and didn't advertise my site in any way. I don't believe this to be a legit accusation and my ban should be lifted. Here is an example of what I feel like: I walk into a store grab a Hershey's. I ask the cashier " Is this good?". Does he/she yell at me and say I'm never allowed in the store again? No, he/she would calmly answer the question yes or no. So I ask that my unjust ban please be lifted. I fear that a staff member misinterpreted my hopes for my thread.

It was in Minecraft Discussion which I saw fit for a discussion on a Minecraft site.

Advertisement bans usually are a result of mentioning a rival game hacking site

Your metaphor is incorrect.

Its as if you went to a coke factory, and put a pepsi sign outside, and asked which is better.

You're not making any sense.
Did you or did you not in any way mention any third-party hacking websites? It doesn't mean just putting a link, even mentioning it's name is forbidden.

Well no. I did not advertise my site. I posted a link and asked what people thought. There is a big difference.

I like your metaphor except there are 1 million members here and zip there.

If you mention any kind of forum (even your own) at all that has to do with video game hacking, then that is advertising. You should of taken a screenshot of your site, blocked the URL and name out, then showed it to people asking for their opinions.
