I have a question how do people in multiplayer have like cool skins for there character like for all them to see?
also umm lets say I have a texture back and my iron brick color is pink for me will it be pink for u in multiplayer? if soo how do i do that
For your first question, the reason why people have those skins is because they bought the game and can apply skins to their accounts.
As for your second question, texture packs are client mods and can only be seen by the player using it.
There are plugins for bukkit servers that will change the look of a block using Spout (Spoutcraft - Bukkit)
this does require a server to use spout and the server owner must also have spout installed.
soo your saying once i buy my minecraft i can change my look for my character and everyone to see right and for the second question if i own a server then i can change the look is that right?
When you buy minecraft you can customize your own player's skin, and you can't enforce server-wide textures. All texture packs are purely client sided.
