.dll problem please help

Ok so I triyed to opened a .dll file with notepad, and ever since, i cant make it a .dll file again... Please help me as soon as possible.
i feel really dumb by asking that question but i'm so confused...

It is still a dll. It just looks like a text file.
Right click on it and check its file type

go save as press .dll or save and quit or make dont change then quit that's all

ok i just wanted to know if there is a way to rechange the icon to its origin way but its k i think its solved thank you.
