BAN QUESTION
not sure if this is the right section...dont delete this though lolz
alright so just one simple question; Can you get IP banned from crossfire? If yes, then for how long?
I currently have no CLUE about IP ban..but i think it's worse then temp ban, for the sound of it. Or just someone explain to me what IP ban is. I have never been IP banned, yes i have been banned for like 2 days before for hacking, so i just want to know..people are like "imma IP ban you ..Sho[Ck**_ (that's my IGN lol)". I just want to be more careful around auto-on hacks..i dont want to get reported twice cause i think if you get caught twice your perm banned.

Yes, you can be IP Banned from Crossfire. IP Bans are usually permanent bans. When you register your internet, you have a special address or Internet Protocol Number known as your IP Address. What Z8 can do is that they can permanently ban your IP address and basically you cannot play crossfire under your own internet anymore. Don't believe those guys that say they're going to IP Ban you. In no way is someone going to say they're going to IP Ban you. And besides, they aren't even GM's from the looks of it. As well a GM or Moderator won't come to you in game and say they're going to IP Ban you... That's just ridiculous from the sounds of it. You can be IP Banned if you have way to many offences and bans on your account as far as I know.

Well if you're going to be more careful, then pick hacks wisely... Pick the hacks that don't look obvious-looking.

It's very hard to get IP banned... if you get permanently banned on MULTIPLE accounts they do take action by banning your IP.

0-o alright thanks...so basically when your IP banned you cant play crossfire anymore? And if you get caught hacking and when you get banned 2 times, do you get perm banned?

Well you can't play under your internet anymore... You can still play crossfire under someone elses net as long as your account isn't perma'd. If you get caught hacking twice, you could be perma'd. It might not happen, but it could happen. :/
