I bought my laptop for like $1500 and it still struggles to BF3 and MW3

I can build a computer for $5000 and it can still struggle to play worse games. It's all about the specs.

I bought it on late 2010 and it was high spec then.
Technology moves incredibly.
I guess BF3 has higher graphics and higher spec demand

Skyrim with any sort of decent AA settings at high resolutions will rape your graphics card, especially if you get hi-res texture mods.
