MOD PROBLEM

hi.
Everytime I try using a mod loader (anything), I keep getting errors at the menu! It keeps on saying that mod loading failed. Anyone know how to fix this problem? I really want some mods like goldenfoods and sorts.
BTW, i have deleted everything in META-INF folder.[COLOR="Silver"]

try reinstalling java and start with a fresh bin folder

Please post an example error. Is your configuration file missing?

no, and I deleted my minecraft mod loader file, and just completely deleted it. I didn't feel like moding now, but thanks for all your help. There isn't a configuration file missing, and everything I did was correct, I believe.
