Solvedthe question about the lower difficulty command

If i use this command to lower current map's difficulty from hero to normal, do the items boss drop also change to normal mode?
bind "F3" "current_combat_difficulty 1;cc_system_message Easy_Mode"

I heard that the only thing that changes is the attack of the bosses but I'm not really sure about the drops x.x.
