This is how you can fix annoying "Can't Connect to server, Connection Timed Out" Error, when attempting to join a game. This also works for if you go to join a match and next to your name says "In Game" but it seems as if your game froze then your back in the lobby seconds later...
1.) Most connection problems are caused from
Windows Firewall
Don't worry, this is an easy fix! Click below and follow the steps.
-FIREWALL-
Click Start -> Control Panel -> System And Security -> Windows Firewall, Below where it says "Windows firewall, click 'Allow a Program through Windows Firewall" - Make sure it says 'Engine.exe', ( May just show up as 'Combat Arms' )
If your Still having problems try allowing it through your anti-virus Firewall, Im running NORTON, to do it in Norton just open it, Click Settings -> Click the Network tab, and on the bottom left click Smart Firewall , from here click Program Control , and allow Engine.exe
2.) If that doesn't work it may be due to
Corrupt Winsock Settings.
Most of the Combat Arms connectivity problems are caused out of corrupt Winsock settings. Windows sockets settings may get corrupted due to the installation of a networking software, or perhaps due to Malware infestation. You will be able connect to the Internet, but the packets won't transfer back and forth. Also an easy fix!
Reset Winsock!
1. Open Command Prompt ( Run as admin in Win7 ) [If you don't know how, click Start -> Run -> CMD]
2.Type in “netsh winsock reset” (without the quotes)
3. After resetting winsock, Restart your computer.
3.) If your
STILL having problems, try running a deep scan on your computer because the connection problem may be caused by a
Virus.
4.) If none of these have worked so far, don't lose hope! Try downloading a CA cleaner, which can be found here

You also might want to try downloading all the .DLL's again, which could be found at
DLL Downloads.

5.) If all else fails, try
re-installing Combat Arms ( Make sure you delete all your old Combat Arms files first! )
If you follow all these steps your Combat Arms connection problem should be solved
