no man, i think you are really missing something here... because right now and right at this moment, my proxycap 4.20 64bit is really not detected and i could leave it open and running 24 hours and none is popping out that it is detected...
just like i told before:
if you got the installer somewhere on the net, the "proxycap 4.20 - CORE version" it has 2 clients in there, the x86 & x64 version, now I only use x64 since i have a windows 7 64bit. now if you dont have a 64bit OS, it might get you some problems man...
here it goes again:
1. get the 64bit installer of proxycap CORE version with keymaker
2. if you have previousy installed proxycap either the latest or the old, just uninstall both and reboot.
3. install proxycap (x64) since this is the only one that works, not x32 or x86. then reboot.
4. 1st time you installed proxy cap, you have to run the keymaker and copy the code and the machine name
--->>goto HELP -->> ABOUT PROXYCAP --->>paste the code and the machine name in there, hit REGISTER.
now it will prompt you the "registration Failed" thing! this is where we're going to break into REGISTRY.
5. open REGEDIT--->> hit F3 --->> look for MMTPROVIDER
6. when you found it, DELETE it.
7. now go back to the keymaker again, run it again.
8. now without copying anything from the keymaker.
9. just run the keymaker on your desktop and GOTO proxycap at the system tray.
10. right-click proxycap and GOTO>>HELP>>ABOUT PROXYCAP
11. when you see your machine name in there" LICENECE TO : "your machine name". You are done and registered.
so, there you go, anything missed?
