Your new texture have to be smaller or got to have the same size like the original texture

I guess you have to change the name to "New_(Ex:Awm).dtx" "New_Awm.dtx"
so if it's another wepon just change the "Awm" to the wepon your modding
if there's space in it like "M4A1 Camo" i guess you have to put "New_M4A1_Camo.dtx"

or just make the picture smaller xD

No, he needs to make the new file smaller than the original file, nothing less
