Agreed, GMs are the only ones that can "spawn" items. If you guys ran with the GMs when they suddenly showed up in PVP you would have seen them all with low titles and +15 gear.

Well how do you know that "not right away" isn't right now?

Last time someone revealed the method, but we actually had definitive proof that item creation existed long before he revealed the method.

I know that its not right now because there's no proof or even hints of this currently being possible, however its intriguing how no one seems to deny the possibility.
