That's what most UDK user's say. Yes you have better chances going AAA but i doubt you will get anything done. Me and my team might be converting to UDK untill Unity3D goes to DirectX 11 till then UDK and Untiy3D are about the same.


Also you cannot say Unity3D is easy because it's not. You try getting UDK and CryEngine graphics in Unity3D. It's not easy. Don't say it is!

While there are two different things, they go hand-in-hand. UDK is like the IDE for UE.
CryEngine is alot cleaner then UDK, but Unity is defiantly the best engine for beginners/small studios.
CryEngine anytime over UDK
