HELP CF startup problem

i have this problem that when i start crossfire the HGW game watcher loads up until 99% then freezes
i will thank and +rep anyone who can help

Try disabling antivirus and firewall.

How about your antivirus?

Usually it monitors stuff and it could be affecting HGWC

Try running HGWC.exe in compatibility mode.

Open up your CF Folder (C:\Program Files\Z8Games\Crossfire)

Then look for HGWC.exe, right click it, go to properties -> Compatibility Tab -> Check the box 'Run this program in compatibility mode for' - or something along those lines -> then select the highest option given.
