M.A.T. Range Hack

Today, I heard from a friend that there was range hacks for melee?
It's like you are in a melee room and you can extend the range of your knife and how far it could hit.
Example you can have a cobra but change the range so its distance is similar to the darksteel blade.
Anyone has any information about this new mod?
