Should I get a mechanical keyboard?

I currently have the default keyboard and I don't think it is as good as a mechanical keyboard. A mechanical keyboard has a faster processing time then a regular keyboard. I want the buy the SteelSeries 6G v2 Keyboard - wired - US.

So should I buy one? A lot of people say it helps your gaming a lot. I know snowshovel uses one of these.

You should go for the mouse and mouse pad instead since it's the thing that really determines if you get the kill

Hold in to your cash until the price drops. The improvement isn't too noticeable.

Still doesn't help. Unless you're very competitive, have low ping in most games, then it's quite a useless investment if you're worry about that extra millisecond.

Lol just found out I have a mechanical keyboard but this one has been around in the family for like 5 years lol. I still die most of the time and the keyboard is pretty load so if you type fast, don't get one as it will annoy others lawl. I'm pro though so the keyboard doesn't really affect my gameplay, only the mouse and mousepad as I can imagine the person killing me with a better one.

imho, A standard keyboard (8ms) and a highgrade gaming mouse > A mechanical keyboard and a sh*tty mouse.

And a good mousepad ofc.

Get either a Das Keyboard or a Blackwidow/Ultimate

Don't get Cherry MX Blacks, because they "feel" like normal keyboards, but actuate halfway through the press, which can be misleading/confusing

Go with Cherry Blue, Brown, or Red because they have tactile feedback and typing with them is fucking AMAZING
