Download what I told you. Run it. See what happens. After it fixes the error restart your computer and try again. If it doesnt work come back here.

Not always. His problem is cause by maleware. Ive experienced this problems with both XP and Vista. His best option would either be to system restore his computer or download a good maleware scanner.
