Use IDA pro

go to international section and look at stickies threads and click on how to find Addie's by barcoder ( that's my old account ). The words in " " that are grey are strings. Those words in strings window are strings also. Learning some ASM will help but I know barely any Asm and I'm still pretty decent at finding addies.

I use olly and I can now find strings in my own

I'm really confused when I use IDA

Not hard to find search strings. Go to the addie you are looking for and scroll up until you see something in " " . the word inside the quotes is the search string. you can either scroll up and look for " " or even scroll down. I do both and choose the strings that closer
