The shutdown file SOLUTION!

Hello fellow MPGH users, if you have downloaded the hack that

Shuts down ur pc in a certain ammount of time, heres what you do.

IF your on windows
1. go to Start menu
2. Press run.
3. Type "Shutdown -a" without quotes,
4. and press enter, it should stop shutting ur pc down.

This does work. Those "hacks" are a special virus that's really easy to make.

It is a mdos command. shutdown -a = shutdown abort.
Very simple command. Thanks for telling them about it.

comp stuffed

my comp jst goes to the bit where it says safe mode, normal etc i pres normal then it goes to the welcome bit then it restarts the comp

After running in a safe mode ,again restart and press the alt f8 button.Now select the option The last working config and boot up.Then it should work.

If it does not. Reply here.

Well, you can try this....

In safe mode, go to start->run, type in msconfig, and the system configuration window will come up.

First, try clicking on startup and say disable all, then say apply. Try restarting your computer and loading it normally, and see if it lets you get anywhere. If it does, you can go back into msconfig and start enabling startup items again until you find the one that is messing you up.

If that didn't work, try going back into msconfig, keep all the startup items disabled, and click on the services tab. check the box saying hide all microsoft services, then click on disable all, and hit apply. Try restarting into Windows normally again, if it works, then again, you have to figure out which service/startup items are affecting your boot up.

Umm im not following. Can you give me the steps starting from when you start up your computer until you get onto your desktop?

Does what really work? If your asking about the hacks he released no they dont.

Steps xP

step1. it starts normally at first
step2. it loads everything then goes to the list of modes eg. safemode normal etc
step3.i press normal and safe mode it loads the microsoft xp thing
step4.after its done it goes to the welcome section( u know how u login to get in and stuff thats the bit it restarts)
