[Warning] Battleye IP tracking & Script Detection

I never used v1.3, but I did have folder in my arma directory called wuat! Quickly deleted it just in case. Not banned yet though!

Cannot get ban if you have script in your folder.
IP banning is really debating in the AC community, these are rumors, i got banned a lot of time, still not banned on my new key

Also, lots of FUD in this thread.

This could be logical, but coming from someone with 2 posts who "decoded the game", I really want to know where you found this out. If you have some source, please share.

They can't ban you for that. You must have cheated and it was a delayed ban or something. Unless it states in their ToS that they can ban for having a file named after a know cheat, then what they did is technically not legal. They can not ban you on suspicion of cheating. They have to catch you in the act.

This is false, as far as IP and scripts in your folder go.
On a VIP forum, we've had the WUAT menu in our folders for the past two months.
I've personally been through 5 keys, and I've never been banned instantly on any keys.
I have also ran DayZ and vanilla arma without the bypass injected, while the WUAT menu was in my folder.

I'd also like to mention that I've been hive banned once, but that's about it.
I've done a lot of crazy shit on my keys as well.

Also, when purchasing the game you agreed to the EULA. They can view files in our computer, and also, it's not suspicion if the scripts are there.
General intention is bannable. You purchased the game, not the online capabilities. :]

Well, this has to be the way i got my most recent key banned (funforums5 i owe you some money now)

I bought a new key, and was playing with friends legitimatly, no cheats, no scripts nothing loading in the background, modem gets restarted often (due to a fact after a while my pc drops the connection and needs a power cycle)

Only thing is i have folders in my arma2 directory with scripts inside.

are you sure they can scan the folder? Isnt that like illegal search and seizure without consent? They cant just change the ToS.

Maybe so for public injectors, private bypasses you should be fine

Sounds illegal to me if they ban if they do "scan" your computer for scripts.

This is complete and utter crap. I named a whole bunch of my scripts to obvious things AND EVEN RAN SOME. No bypass, just the CE method. No ban, and I was only kicked from one sever. (Left CE open, oops.)

If they can't even catch a hacker in plain day, what makes you think they have scanning so advanced it can ban you for having a script with a "suspicious" name?

BE still sucks major chode. They can't even catch me in game using detected wuat scripts. How are they gonna find scripts in my directory? Granted they may look for them, but god dam, if it sucked anymore.

when i used hack i had the hack in the desktop and first i run and connect to the server and then i start the hack 2 seconds later as admin! but i waited to say "yes" until some more seconds!

What do you think about that? is it posible that battley can detect it?
