If a DOS window opened and closed it means the program is running in the background. Open the .cfg file with notepad.

So let me just summarize this for myself. You just start vindictus, then the config.cfg and then open it with notepad and enter the binds and just press enter to make it work? Yes I'm new at this, cheers.

I've been able to edit the file and save it, but everytime I start the game it updates the file and replaces changes I've made.
I've also tried multiple ways such as saving the file, closing the tool and lettingit revert back and trying the game again...no go
