On topic: Unfortunatly all the ways of running CA or any game(for the most part) has been patched. People make it as a hack now so gl finding it.
To put CA in windows mode, just put the d3d9.dll in the CA folder...
When i run it in windows 95 compatability it ran in windowed mode. Hasn't done it lately, not sure if it was a vista problem or wht.
y would u want it in window mode it suks. Its not wat u think. Combat arms window mode cant be cliked through or moved
