Downloading Problems HELP!

Hello guys I'm newbie sorry for asking if this is such a simple question. When I download stuff like injectors some files shows up white ,but if i save it and open it it wont work.. It says "Windows cannot open this File" so i checked another injector and it showed up as a picture of a yellow folder... So i saved it extracted it and it worked but it was detected so i did not use it. Is it meant to be like that? Its kind of like a Blank White Paper. Please anyone help me?

do you have requirements and other stuffs ?

There is no requirements for these Injectors. Every injector that is approved should have a file like this --->http://www.mpgh.net/forum/290-crossf...-any-game.html but others have like a pile of books colored like this ---> http://www.mpgh.net/forum/290-crossf...-advanced.html.
