Which would be fine except the quincy place has never been discussed, not even by ishida.

But what I'm still not getting is that since soul society has never really been explained, I'm still very confused as to how the quincy and such live in a different place or how the boss has a time-limit.

Its never REALLY been discussed, but why does it have to be the quincy? Ishida should be playing a part here since he got over this pathetic hatred in the first few volumes. Oh well.
