Editing and compiling a swf file?
Hey, I've been trying to accomplish the sprite world speed and the and the remove moving tiles hack.
I edit the Player.class.asasm file, and put the code where it says to put it, save it, and recompile the swf with rabcadasm easy, but when I I go into a sprite world, there is no speed hack and the moving tiles are still there. I decompile it again, and checked the Player.class.asasm file, and they are still there, so why isn't it working?
Thanks
What's still there? The code you inserted is found in the decompiled client?

If you are using the program that automates disassembling/assembling with rabcdasm that was posted by @raikoug, I recommend against it. If there were errors in the assemble process it is likely you wouldn't know about it since everything happens so fast. In cases like that, nothing would have changed in the client and you'll be left scratching your head trying to figure out why it didn't work.
Yes, the code is still there.
I retried it using a .bat file i pasted/edited, exporting it with,
Code:
abcexport 4.4.swf
rabcdasm 4.4-0.abc
rabcdasm 4.4-1.abc
pause
and compiling with,

Code:
rabcasm 4.4-0\4.4-0.main.asasm
rabcasm 4.4-1\4.4-1.main.asasm
pause
abcreplace 4.4.swf 0 4.4-0\4.4-0.main.abc
abcreplace 4.4.swf 1 4.4-1\4.4-1.main.abc
pause
del /q /f 4.4-0.abc
del /q /f 4.4-1.abc
pause
But, still, no dice.
Thanks
Ya the .bats look good. It might be an issue with where you are placing the code. I know I've tried the tile hack JustAnoob posted and didn't get it to work (I didn't try very hard, I was testing something that I couldn't test with the proxy so I decided I would whip up a mod real quick to stop the tile movement). My guess is that there were multiple parts in the file that shared the same pattern. I just picked the wrong one.
On the speed hack, I think i placed it all correctly, it looks like
Code:
getproperty QName(PackageNamespace(""), "props_")
      getproperty QName(PackageNamespace(""), "speed_")
      initproperty QName(ProtectedNamespace("_-n4"), "_-Lx")

L113:

		;----------------------------
		; Sprite World Speed Hack
		;----------------------------

			getlex QName(PackageNamespace(""), "map_")
			getproperty QName(PackageNamespace(""), "name_")
			pushstring "Sprite World"
			ifne NORMAL

			getlocal0
			pushdouble 2 ; speed factor : change to a value above 1
setproperty QName(ProtectedNamespace("_-2e"), "_-oe") ; Value inited using the props.speed ..

			NORMAL:
		;-----------------------------------------------------

      returnvoid
     end ; code
    end ; body
   end ; method
  end ; trait
I believe thats correct..
I haven't played around with that. You'll have to get help from @JustAnoobROTMG.
Like i said on the other thread, i posted codes for the real 4.3 BUILD i made for myself( (i hexed to 4.4 for my personal use)...
Everyone here (maybe not nilly or other hackers are playing on 4.0 hexed to 4.4

So, names (the _-?? stuff) are different in the 4.0 you are using than in the 4.3 i used

And the guy you just quoted had the same problem than you ...
The code you posted was the code he used, which was bugged because this code is only partially updated

The names used in the SETPROPERTY (in the code we ADD) must be exactly the same than the names in the INITPROPERTY we have just discovered !

If you used this code, its obvious that it wont work
Ok, I should have noticed that. So if i change those variables, it should work?

EDIT: It Works on 5.0! Yay!
