Pfft Help Needed
Well last week I found this Iphone 4S (Not the one I posted couple weeks ago, since I have 2 4S's) laying around the park I normally came back from College, no one was near me so I took it home. I took out the SIM card, restored it to factory default. Pretty much uses it for music and games etc. (The other 4S are for Phone calls, Text and browser the internet). After couple days I heard that the police are looking for the lost 4S.

And I was wondering can the police track it? No it don't have a SIM in it, and is fully restored. Only being on wireless once.

Any help?

I did, not sure why you need another phone just for music and games when the first one can do that . But why on earth are the cops looking for a lost phone? You should be completely fine.
Wait until you get a reward, then return it.
Ofcourse you should keep it, it's an Apple product
May I use the SIM? Joking aside if you're down to do some naughty stuff with it PM.

Maybe

But anyway that ain't my question.

I simply asked "If the cops/pigs will able to track the phone?"

Not sure, it might be that the owner want the phone back etc. But still I just wants to make sure of it.

Because I heard from my local, that the police gonna do a search day within everyone's home who lives around those park.
use a program other than itunes incase the sn is flagged, other than that you're in the clear.
Listen to what Iverson said.

I recall hearing on the news that a cop once tracked down a stolen iPhone using the "Find my iDevice" feature on iCloud I think it was.
if the carrier is verizon, yes. and the owner can use the FindMyiPhone app.

The carries was not verizon, instead can hold up to 3 different network (Not at the same time). The FindmyIphone app was re-located to my Apple ID.
