Working Dupe Method [28-12-'12]

Dupe Is Now Patched!

Requirements:

Sandboxie
The Warz (of course, duh)

Game Preparation:

Window mode (Any fitting resolution, id suggest 800x600)
Graphics on LOW (just so it runs both clients smoothly)

Gathering the required information

Start Warz normally
Login (don't press "play game")
Click on the button "My Account " in the upper left corner.
Now your internet browser should open with something like this:

Now you copy to complete part after the WzLogin=
(i.e.: VXZcV1XXVF5XXXXUVFxdXXXXXXVUVAX= )
That`s the Session ID
Now we create a batch file in our Warz folder.
Right-click into your WarZ folder.
New text document.
Copy and Paste the following into the file

Start WarZ.exe -WOUpdatedOk -WOLogin "here your Session ID"

Important: The "" has to surround your Session ID dont delete them.
Example:

Start WarZ.exe -WOUpdatedOk -WOLogin "VXZcV1XXVF5XXXXUVFxdXXXXXXVUVAX="

Save it as a .bat file
-> Save as -> File format = All formats -> Name = WarZ.bat
Make sure its a .bat file else it wont work
If you havent done so, Download and install Sandboxie.
Close everything involving The Warz and proceed.

The Actual Duping
Make sure one of your characters is in a Safe Zone before proceeding

Go to The Warz folder, and double click your .bat file.
Now WarZ should start and we should come to the character menu.
Empty your Characters inventory, place everything you've got in your Global Inventory
Place the items you want to dupe into the first 6 slots of your backpack
DON'T PLACE THEM IN THE QUICK-BAR OR EQUIPMENT SLOTS!
Once you've done that, ALT-TAB out of The Warz, and open Task Manager
Look-up the WarZ.exe in your process list, and right click it.
Press Set Affinity, and Disable all CPU's except the last one, and Hit OK.
Well that's that, now we are going to open the second WarZ window.
Once again go to your WarZ folder, and find your .bat file.
Right Click it and choose "Run Sandboxed", another WarZ window should popup.
Go into the inventory of the character you've placed the items in you wanted to dupe earlier.
DO *NOT* TOUCH ANYTHING!
Right, Now switch back to the WarZ window you opened first
DON'T FORGET THE "SET AFFINITY" PART!
Now join a server, as you may notice its freaking slow. that's a good thing!
Now we wait, wait until the loading bar is like 20% done.
That is somewhere just past the first zombie on the left.
NOTE. This can take a while, so go do something else. maybe take a dump, make yourself some coffee.
Once it's loaded to 20%, Switch to the second WarZ window and place all the items in the characters inventory back to your Global Inventory
If a box with "Invalid Operation, bla bla" is appearing, wait some seconds and try again!
Once all the items are back into your Global Inventory, you can close the second WarZ window.
Now open up Task Manager again, and set the Affinity on WarZ.exe back to All Processors.
your WarZ should load like it would normally again now.
Once you spawn, Drop everything you got on you, and pick it up again.
Log-out and go take a look in your Global Inventory.
Voila, you should have the items on your character and the same items in your Global Inventory

I'm just sharing this method, and am not giving support on it, also i didn't find this method myself.
Just trying to kill the "SELLING DUPE METHODSZSZ" threads, people shouldn't have to pay for whats out there for free.

Thanks, however I just tried this with no luck, I am going to try again, im 90% sure it may have been be that did something wrong. Also, the servers JUST reset, so maybe a hotfix? Just putting that out there, ill try again, thanks for sharing!

It did not work for you as it was patched. This was actually started by a Russian on another forum (www.*************.me). If you try this method you will simply timeout, after you set affinity for first client to all processors, and wait for it to log in.

Work or not ?

Can anyone check if this still works? I tried the sandboxie method with .bat like 1 hour ago and I always got the error that I need to close another client when I try to put items in global. Tried 2 times

What i would like to note out for the people having the issue with the Warz.bat file is that everytime you would use the game originally without the Bat file.
the serial number on the "my account" will change so you will have to edit the bat file with the new serial before you try again.

secondly, whenever you start the duping process while the first game is loading and you set back the affinity, just keep trying to put the items into the GI with your second game, untill the error gets removed, as mentioned above, but it might take up to 5-10min. IT DOES NOT MATTER how far your loading bar is. just keep waiting.

and third.. alot of people expierience the loss of duped items if they would drop everything and pick it back up, and log out.
what i suggest you do is that you find a spot within the safe zone, and JUST pick up 4 items, and move them to your GI. and go back to the server. and pick 4 more up. ( stacked items are counted as 1 ).

And as this guide mentioned that you shouldnt put it in your equip slot or your hotkey slots, its false, it does not matter.

u can take my word for it, as it is true, i have nothing to gain and ive duped succesfully hundreds of times. just be patient.

I test that metod and dont work (or im stupid...), tryed 30+ min. and cant dupe any...

This should be closed or deleted. It does not work. It was patched.
