D3D - help

Hey everyone, i was just wondering if there is anyone out there who could teach me about how to find the D3D addresses like DIP, EndScene, Present Engine etc.

I have no idea where to start looking, i'd like to learn how i can find them for myself rather than having to ask other people for the address. we all had to learn from somewhere and i'm hoping someone can help me.
