A great story to go with this is mmbob. We all know him as a great VIP coder. Not only that, but his extravagant knowledge with C++.
When he was first starting, he joined Topblast with his Fire God Team thing. He let him join, a new coder mmbob was at that point.
Now what would have happened if Topblast just flame him for being a new coder, and called him a leecher?
A lot of the things we have today, we credit him for. He's not alone, he's just a good example to use.
So think twice before shutting someone down.
