ROTMG update

I was just browsing the ROTMG forums and saw the new update.

The thing I hate most about it is Godlands don't drop stat pots anymore. Only way Is dungeons.

This is crazy, now it's impossible for new players to max def because the only dungeon that drops that is The creation in mad lab. Enjoy rebuilding if you die and don't have back up pots.

Stone Guardian
Skull Shrine
Cube God
Pentaract
Crystal Prisoner
Treasure Sarcophagus
Oryx's Simulacrum
Oryx the Mad God
Dr. Terrible

These all drop Def

Won't give an opinion until I tried everything. I believe that quests drop pots too. Only limiting stat pots to high difficulty events and dungeons is only a way to kill the game and I doubt they are so narrow-sighted to do it.

Ok all those drop pots. How can a new lvl 20 player possibly max def from
any of those. You would get smashed.

Well i guess new players will have to run sprites and sell 8dex for 1def lol

Dyes are too fucking expensive.

I haven't tried it yet but if you can't farm pots in godlands it'll totally be impossible for someone like me to max without hack or buying...I couldn't play without hack...tried and died over and over...ridicules. The buying part is what I suspect is the entire point of making it harder... someone is making money and it ain't just hackers... just who owns the top sale sites? I suspect its linked

The drop rates were horrible already, but it was nice to see a random att or def
Im no where near new, but I havent maxed anything before so this might make things a bit harder

Wait so you have played for a couple months and have not maxed anything ? I dont even...

Also I right away looked through the .xmls and saw that they only added those treasures they were talking about.
Might actually play a bit with my other 8/8 wiz

Probably closer to a year
I forget about the game for a month or two, play for a month or so, ect ect.
I'm also a hoarder. I could probably max dex and speed but i dont feel like loosing all that work

In response to the title.

Lol idk man, new players gonna have a real grind playing this game. Both Necros and Sorcs gonna have to adjust to this new update.

Wouldnt be suprised when they would monetize pots ...

Alright Im off to trying out all the exploits I have come up with and maybe try for some new ones.

After playing a bit I can now say that imo this is ridiculous. I have no idea how they expect new players to get def pots.
