Vindictus Lag

i played this game when it first released, no lag issues or delays at all.
now in 2013 when i decide to patch the game and play again there is constant server lag, is this me?
did they downgrade their servers or whut??
I find this really annoying because i cannot speed through quest dialogue and other things

Don't play on patch day / right after maintenance. Causes every time connection issues (at least for me).
