Error Code 0

Hey MPGH...

Second thread of the day asking for more help yet again.
Starting to sound needy.
When trying to fix all this crap with "Key Stolen? Registry A Mess? Started by NormenJaydenFBI", when I opened up Darkies Keychanger, I got an error saying:
"Failed to read Hex-Key from Registry!

Error Code: 0
Error Message: The operation completed successfully"

This still happened after following all of the instructions posted (Yes I read the entire thing).

Help is appreciated.

This is because the stealer set your permissions so you and the system are not able to read the key in the registry. You will have to navigate to the arma2oa folder in regedit and right click, change the permissions to allow all and then turn off launch with steam in dayzcommander.

ah, easy error,
go to regedit
go to the path

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Bohemia Interactive Studio\ArmA 2 OA

then when you are there,
right click -> new -> binary value -> KEY (the registryname)

dont fill in the data(modify data). openup darkies keychanger, tada your done..
but it will say as a key: 0000-0000-0000-0000-0000

Thank you so much! It worked and now I have my key back.

Key was stolen, look at my guide in the DayZ section to fix it, it's a sticky.
