HELP!

My key always resets to my banned after i start the game through steam. ive read this somewhere before, but i havent played dayz for a while since warz came out but since that totally sucks, i wanted to play dayz again, is there any fix for this? thanks in advance

dont start the game thru steam

Dont start through steam because steam automatically re-writes the key you have to start it through DAYZ commander or playwith six or your arma II OA client
