But, learn C# first, and make your own game...

OP, Suggest a game idea (with some detail..!) and I'll post some code ideas. Pick an easy game, and the code will be easy. No 3d movement, weapons etc etc. Make a dice game or something similar which is mostly just math. Maybe?
