5.1 and 7.1 are pretty much the same. You won't know the difference. If I were you, look out for Tritton, Astro, Sennheiser and Logitechs. Go to a store, talk to the tech team there, read some reviews and buy what you're happy with.

Turtle beaches are pretty cool

Well if you don't play a lot then just stick to one headset. Bluetooth headsets are algood since they have a charging dock or you just plug in a USB. Just talk around and visit the store and ask them

yea i though about those one... they seem good but some people say they break easily... idk i might just get them with a 2 year in store warranty for 30$

The wireless audio adapter that you plug into usb ports has a 3.5mm input so as long as you can power the adapter you can practically make any sound source wireless. They also have the jack in the headphone as well so you can use them on your ipod and shit too if you wanted.
