Rather than choosing a language, you should figure out what you want to do first, then learn around that.
If you're going to just straight up learn a language for the sake of learning it, then you're going to quit half-way through because of how fucking stupid it is.
Having a goal helps.

I recommend starting off with Python. It's fairly simple. Will get you a feel for C# and start you off with some general knowledge.

well do all the cources of code.org then you will feel easy in coding in most of the web(online) languages and softwares etc etc(offline languages) yah and if you learn python you will feel easy in c coding.
VB is nice to learn but I think you'd be better of learning C++ and ASM, especially if you wanna code hacks.
I´m starting with HTML right now.
