Yeah on my pc when I tried it just to see what voltage it would give it gave me 1.8 on a phenom II. Shit was running at 70 degrees just from booting

My BIOS has advanced and simple mode. It's either: 'Power Saving', 'Normal' or 'Performance'. (In the simple version.)

And thats a very simple overclock. You probably wont get too much more than a 10% OC there. Look at the video posted above to see how to get any real power out of overclocking.

Still bumps my PC frames up by at least 20.

And OP probably isnt looking for such a low OC. Hence why he pretty much went straight from 2.3 to 4.2GHz.
