Wish i could go back.. ):
You guys do realize, microsoft always begins writing their next operating system right after releasing one?

Windows Longhorn (which would become vista) was started the same year XP was released.

All of Windows 9x is the same operating system with updates (all are version 4)
2000 and XP are pretty much identical (both version 5)
Windows vista and 7 are the same, just with updates (both version 6)

You seem to be one of those other people who hop on the hate vista bandwagon.

Vista with Service Pack 2 makes it as stable as 7, and I had no problems with it over the 4 years I have used it.

All you needed was a decent computer, and windows vista was fine. The main problem is when people tried installing vista on their 2005 computer and complained because it was slow.

Didn't know it was a "bandwagon" to not like it. I've dealt with it firsthand. I had Vista pre installed on 2 decent computers. Would gladly take XP over it. But you're right to some extent. Just depends on the hardware I guess...

Exactly XP was just easier to run especially on older computers

Operating System has absolutely nothing to do with loading a web page.
