Crossfire issues screen res.?

Hi, i really need help, its so that when i start my game everything its good, but when i want to change resolution and save, it comes at 800x600(screen res.) and my gamma is at 0 and even if i play so, i cant move my mouse and its veryy dark...can someone help me pls, i really want to play :///
EDIT; i dont have a program that reads xtrap (xtp-file) :SSS

I cant, even if i make 50 gamma, and save it goes to 0 again... thats problem :/

I'm new, i didnt knew...
