If you have a Hex Editor, you dont need a specific line to change, you only need to know the version number of your client and the current updated build number.

Can also be done using Yogda which is mentioned in several threads (not looking for them for you), and also look in 'Useful Tools' for common software used by others.
What annoys people here is laziness, and the expectation for others to do all the work for them. If one of us is to go back through and find these links for you.(hint hint)... why couldnt you have looked and found them yourself? After all you know how to sign up to a forum, but don't know how to search one? or can't be bothered doing so, which goes back to my first statement.
You say you have looked all up and down 'the' page trying to find one ....? only the one page??? there are also different sections like Requests, Tutorials and Source Code, Discussions, all of which could and most likely would have other threads/posts related to your search.
Coming to a site as a newbie and name calling existing members is probably not the way to go, otherwise future help will be a lot more difficult for you, because you will become "that guy" that no one wants to bother with.. kind of like 'first impressions', they last. Being a 'prick' would be 'not' telling you what you needed to know about this Forums thread rules, because realistically, they were right to tell you that, alot of people get told that, how else would you know otherwise?? Oh yeah, by reading the rules......
