Offline Vindictus.

Took a break from Vindictus for a year after getting hacked. In a ragefit, left mpgh as well. I still like the game, but I have zero interest of going back.

Now, I want to pursue a thought I had from years back: Single Player/Offline Mode. A server emulator is the first thing that pops up when I think of this.

Has any headway been made at all? I want to start poking at it.

But this is a party game.

Could always play solo and pretend you are playing a single player game lol.

I wonder if hes afraid of going back because he "thinks" hes going to get hacked again, only reason he got hacked was either because he had a really shit password and someone cracked it, or he had a good one and someone was a good cracker.

Or he could have got scammed because he wasn't to bright 1 year ago, or he could have gotten scammed by a highly intellegent scammer.

Most of the people I've heard getting "hacked" was not a hack at all. They got phished or were scammed by being blatantly retarded and were too embarrassed to admit it and just said they "got hacked". In fact, of the ~5 incidents in my guild/friends that I knew directly, not one was actually enabled by a program. But that's not to say that stuff isn't out there and has effected some people in Vindi.

There's really no point in going into detail about what happened, I had a pass with numerical and special characters and that crimson security code or w/e it was. What happened happened, whatever. None of that has anything to do with what I asked.

I could care less about getting hacked, I just don't have the time to get back to where I was before with college and work. And plus, I really don't like Nexon. Or the general community. I just like the game.

Playing Vindictus alone is not fun at all ...
and
Emulator = People making private servers = people trying to get your money with those servers = Nexon will probably do something against it

I personally played vindictus for a long time and i share same craving as Xenolith does ... playing this game solo.
Most of the time i met heavily underskilled people who couldn't handle pressure of being solo against a boss even
for few seconds, despite the fact they could dodge, counter and attack perfectly when we were both alive.
Some of the time there are really experienced people, but they on other hand are usually ''Socially unavailable''
and only thing they say in public is something insulting or usual ''Doll house'' in public while ignoring others ...

So yea ... my social experience was bad in Vindictus.
To sum it up i always was a ''Lone wolf'' when it came down to dungeons or raids and never really had a
companion ... either he was too unskilled for a specific run or he was skilled enough, but his attitude was intolerable.

I lost my duo partner back in January, and I'm not the talkative type with random people so making friends is basically impossible for me. I must say though, playing solo makes things just boring...
Being that this is a hacking forum, I'm not about to give out my IGN either lol. But hey! that's just my opinion after all.

We should totally play together.
