FAQ ON FIXING HACK ERRORS

This is basically an attempt at trying to solve some of our user's common problems when trying to hack Combat Arms..


FAQ:

Q: It say's that it Cannot Find the .DLL
A:Turn Off Anti Virus Software, and re-install the hacks, or re-download them if its in a .zip or .rar format.

Q: I get the hacks to work, but it crashes on me
A: Delete (or cut and paste somewhere else) CAV.exe and rwdata2.bin, then Try Again.
Also, make sure CA is running on Windows 95 compatability mode. And if you have Vista, RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR

Q: It Can't Inject The .DLL
A:The DLL file is mostlikely missing.
Try re-Installing, with your Anti Virus Software paused or disabled

Q: OMG I've tried everything! I still can't get it to work!
A: If all else fails, its nothing a good old-fashioned reinstall wont fix! (As in; Reinstalling CA)


Notes:

Never put the hacks, or install hacks into the Combat Arms folder.

If you don't have the most recent .NET Framework, then you will most likely fail. .NET Framework is developed by Microsoft, and you can just google it to find the most recent one.

ALWAYS SCAN WHAT YOU DOWNLOAD; We're not responsible for some virus you obtain because your too stupid to realize what you downloaded.

I think we can only help the choobs so much.
They have brains, I'm guessing.

Nothing works for me.
I've tried
1) Reinstalling CA.
2) Playing with the compatibilities.
3) Deleting CAV and rwdata2.bin.
4) Running everything as admin.

Need a little help here. :/

What happens when the entry point cannot be found? Is there a fix to that?

wonder if this thread actually helps any one..oh well nice idea, seems like basic knowledge though...
