failed to download version.ini

failed to download version.ini
i downloaded crossfire from the site and i started the game from patcher it gives :failed to download version.ini i re-instal it and restarted the computer then i start patcher and it tells me the samething please HELP!!!!

I got this problem too and there's was some file are deleted from my CF Folder so.. check your cf folder

nothing deleted its just this problem i Really Neeed HELPPPPPPP!!

Stop whining, http://www.mpgh.net/forum/243-crossf...aaaaaaase.html go there and download the file I put there and put it in your cf folder, replace it with the original.

Play CF on a different user on your comp.

go to user accounts on your comp and make a new one. Then log off the one you're on right now and log onto that one.
