Rates / Hitbox / Interp

Not sure where to place this and not sure if you guys would know but I need some help from you lot if wouldn't mind.
I play a MOD for HL2 EP 2 and for this mod it requires you too have a large hitbox / good rates otherwise people seem to easily push you out of the way its part of the game.
I was wondering what rates i could use or commands that would help me to have a large hitbox or anything that would give me an advantage with cl_interp and cl_cl_interpolate or any good rates i could use in general.
I currently have a 60MB connection speed.
Any help would be much appreciated.
