READ! IMPORTANT!! Ways To Avoid Scam in Rotmg Trading Sections
I have been dealing with alot of buying and selling so I will make a thread with all the tips and advice to avoid being scammed from other party.
Please read this before buying or selling to avoid any scams. (Yes i have been scam a few time for believing in people but I brush it aside and keep buying and selling, it doesn't scare me nor discourage me)
Things You Should Do Before Trading/Buying/Selling!
1)-When someone have vouches, make sure you check their vouches is real, not some random vouches for others, you should check the sources
of the vouches, usually the vouch comes from a thread.
2)- Before beginning the trade, make sure to tell the other person to send you a pm in mpgh forum to make sure its not a fake skype or the skype got hack, this is important, make sure always do this.
3)- When sending your account info, make sure send it to their mpgh forum name with private message, so if you do get scam, you still have the evidence to get this person ban.
4)- When selling something and you have no vouches, always offer to go first if the person have more than 10 vouches (if your stuff is worth less than $40) since each vouch is worth $4 worth of risk. By offering to go first to highly vouch member, you will get positive feedback and people will be more friendly to you and your trade will be more smoothly.
5) Make sure you change the password, security question, recovery option for the email account of the rotmg account that you buy, or the seller can always recover it.
6) When dealing with UGC card, make sure you screenshare and ask the other person to login everything to the "Enter Pin Code area" then share the screen then after that give them the code, that way you know they wont lie about the code being used.
7) When using a middleman, make sure you ask the middleman to send you a PM in the mpgh forum to make sure it is the real middleman, scammer can use a fake middleman.
Things you should avoid:
1) Buying rotmg account but is not provided with the real email password ( that mean you cannot access to the real email address but are only provided with an rotmg account and password.)
**Scammer will always pretend that they cant provide their personal email and will hack your account later with a password reset, it can be done so easily.
2) Buying from anyone with no vouches and they deny to go first no matter what.
**It doesn't matter how many vouches they have from any other places, it doesn't count and is not really worth considering, the only vouches you should check and that it matter are the vouches that are from mpgh . Because we are dealing with real money here on this forum, so each vouch is worth something, and are not easily fake. The one who have no vouches and refuse to go first is 99% scammer!( there's always exception, but if you have no vouch, always offer to go first to people who are vouches, this will make you more trustworthy and people willing to buy your stuff.)
3) When selling an account, make sure you hide your name, your guild name, because it will get banned.
4) Never email a support about your ban mule, your account will also be ban (vortex got ban for doing this)
5)If you want to sell an account, don't show the account name, email before you get the money, the person who wants to buy it will report it and might get you ban (input by Hokko)
6) If a person want to sell the an account but he exposed his account name publicly. you shouldn't buy the account (input by Hokko)

1) From my own opinion each vouch is worth $4 worth of risk, so if someone have 10 vouches, i wouldn't go first with something over $40
