No Competition

Arma 3 needs more people making menus cus at the moment there is only me and lystic/petpet that are making menus and i dont really see them as competition i would like to actually help them with there menu tbh so all you of you that are downloading and using lystics or my menu or any menu for arma 3 go to https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Main_Page learn scripting, look through other peoples menus and make your own and it will make the current menu makers more motivated to make better menus cus there is more competition to compete with as for me and i have said this a few times but im going to stop making menus (the only reason i have been making menus is when im bored and have nothing to do it keeps me occupied but im going to collage soon so i will have alot less free time and having other people to compete against will motivate me to make better menus in the free time that i do have) until other people stop just downloading menus and actually start trying to make there own it doesn't matter if you make a menu and it sucks its still made by you every one starts somewhere

maybe people would code more stuff if bohemias scripting language didnt suck ass LOL

how does it suck ass? its easy as shit to learn and there is alot of really usefull functions that makes everything even easier

im not saying its hard, but the syntax is crap and the control structures make me wanna puke

what exactly is so bad about the syntax and the control structures ?

Your menus are really complete, that add more ?

I would love to make a menu but whenever I sit down and try to my mind just can't handle it and I get confused

The Arma 3 Community is lacking coders. I came from arma 2 / dayz and i already had a history in coding in different languages before i started scripting. I still use this page http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/C...pting_Commands when coding xD. But its true. I really dont see wookie as a competitor. And everyone on these forums keep complaining about how there is no "Working Beta Menu" which im assuming they mean Undetected because wookie 3.1 works on some servers still.

but yeah if some new coders. even making simple scripts like

it would make the community a lot more competitive

I agree, the community could use some more coders. At least then there are more people working on keep anti-hax at bay.

Children of Arma 3: stop being consumers, and start writing some shit. I will handout my skype to anyone who needs coding help and give you detailed howtos for FREE. I'm not an expert myself, I just had the patience to sit down for an afternoon and learn how arma scripting works (this is as easy as programming comes boys and girls.)

I've always wanted to learn the language of scripting, but there are so many different languages. Where do I start and which should I learn?

depends what you wanna do, For arma scripting you need to learn SQF

I have started learning .sqf, maybe someday i will rise to become a challenge :P
