Nodus is a easy client, try it!
You need to rename the .jar file you downloaded and name it: minecraft, so it says minecraft.jar
then go to your roaming folder (C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming) and go in to the .minecraft then into the bin and replace the minecraft.jar in there with the one you renamed. then you have installed it correctly
