before i use my euros on a class i was wondering what class out of the two is better overall, pointman or rifleman?

In my opinion rifleman is better, longer range and higher damage guns. Usually your enemies will be a medium distance, not straight up in your face.

Rifleman is intended to be an all-around versatile class. If you spend everything on pointman, you'll end up having alot of difficulty combating snipers at longer distances.
Also, I forgot to say this. Playing pointman is, in some extent, situational. Something like E-boat, Cross steal, and other "rush-based" game modes will work fine. To succeed with pointman, you need to be IN THEIR FACE (more like 5-10 meters) and you are literally spraying the gun (with some control, of course). Playing pointman is like a gamble. You wreck, or get wrecked.
Regardless of your choice buy one good gun for the class you end up NOT choosing just in case you need to be that class for any reason.

Rifleman is the best case in both rushing wise and holding your ground. You can do both with the rifleman. Its the best class to go.
Pointman weapons have a huge lack of range, I'd go with the rifleman

Para is good. Ak 107 bis, sig, rx4, etc. all depends on what u want
SG556 is REALLY good. Its the original BIS.
